The shift is in the now, are you ready to transform through life-changing experiences and become the best you can be? For a 5-day retreat in the beautiful countryside of Germany, Benediktushof, the countries largest Zen spiritual centre, hosts VEDA's Therese Skovgaard Poulsen.
In this course we will focus on integrating the physical, psychological, spiritual and mystical essences of yoga into modern life. Through the practice we create an inner space of peace despite all the inconveniences, changes and conflicts we are exposed with in our daily life.
We will focus on Ashtanga yoga, a flowing and meditative practice that emphasizes the synchronization of breath and movement, and internal cleansing. It generates internal heat and stimulates the circulation, clearing the mind and strengthening the body.
Elements of the course include regenerative positions, traditional breathing techniques, meditation and lectures on subjects such as nutrition, food as medicine and fasting.
Profound understanding of our depths is the key to the shift and learning how to assimilate the art and science of yoga becomes a tool to support all aspects of life.
