BENEDIKTUSHOF
Holzkirchen, Germany
Benediktushof is a former Benedictine monastery founded in the 8th century. After centuries of decline and falling into disrepair, it was fully renovated in 2002 and began to hold courses by 2003. On 5th March 2004 Benediktushof was officially re-opened as a spiritual centre. Hosting conferences and courses on a range of subjects such as philosophy, theology, psychology and natural sciences, it supports integrated spirituality and pathways towards transpersonal experience, making it an ideal space for the work of Veda Wellness Retreats.
The spiritual aims of Benediktushof are aligned with those of Veda Wellness Retreats and include seeking to provide people with contemporary answers to their modern lives, promoting integrated spirituality and teaching practices as pathways to transformative experiences. Benediktushof sees itself as a source of impetus for social change which is informed by a deep awareness of being, and an expansive level of consciousness. It extends an invitation to all those who are seeking core wisdom in life and aims to show religion as something which can be experienced in the present moment of every day life.
